Our Story…

How We Met: 

In November of 2005, Jennifer was sent to Austin, Texas to participate in the “Launch” training session for Keller Williams Realty International. While attending, she was invited to join a lunch meeting with a group of international staff members and Keller Williams associates. Ryan was among those attending. During the course of the lunch, Ryan invited everyone to a Happy Hour in the frost bank building. Excited to network among Keller Williams members, Jennifer and a neighboring Team Leader headed to the restaurant. Low and behold, no one was there. The next day, Jennifer confronted Ryan, only to hear from him, “I didn’t think anyone was going to show up. So I didn’t go.” After a few minutes of harassing from both Jennifer and the Team Leader, Ryan agreed to go to dinner with her and some of the other agents from Keller Williams at Eddy V’s. The dinner was over 4 hours long and a blast! That was 2004… Welcome to 2008!

How We Got Engaged:

It was the beginning of February, and as always, Ryan and Jennifer were off to Keller Williams Realty’s Family Reunion. After a long week of running from class to class, presentation to presentation, greeting and meeting, Ryan and Jennifer were able to settle down and just enjoy downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Lucky for them, Valentine’s Day fell the day right after all the main events. That day Ryan and Jennifer rode the Marta, toured Emery College, and took in the environment. For the evening, Ryan had made reservations to take Jennifer to the Sun Dial Restaurant in the Westin Hotel. At 7:30 p.m., Ryan and Jennifer rode up the glass elevator to the top of the hotel. They were seating in a booth that over looked all of down town. The restaurant made a complete circle every hour and the lights and building were more than spectacular. Before the waiter took their order, Ryan asked him to take a photo. Finding this a normal affair, Jennifer just took her time getting ready for the photo. Ryan, on the other hand, reached into his pocket, tried as best he could to get on one knee, and said, “Jennifer, will you marry me?” Can you guess what she said? “YES!!!”
